WGTE: Say Their Names
We sample composer/saxophonist Matthew Evan Taylor's album "Say Their Names," a musical response to the 2020 protests against police brutality. Also, performances from the annual New Music Festival of Augusta Read Thomas's piano etudes, and series curator Jennifer Higdon introduces us to composer/violinist Jessie Montgomery.
